Project Description

The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State/PSU) is excited to begin the Architecture/Engineering (A/E) Team selection process for the FRONTIER Building Feasibility Study (FRONTIER). Penn State is utilizing our standard qualification-based A/E Team selection process for this study.

FRONTIER, which stands for “Forging a Renaissance of Nuclear Through Innovation Entrepreneurship and Research” is a research platform that will include the deployment of a nuclear microreactor at the University Park Campus of Penn State. FRONTIER will include the following components: reactor bays and support equipment, labs, education/training spaces, office and a visitor center totaling 75,000 gsf.
