Rec Hall Main Gym Lighting Upgrades

Mortenson Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager for the Penn State Rec Hall Main Gym Lighting Upgrades project located at the University Park campus in University Park, PA.  The project consists of light fixture and lighting control upgrades in the Main Gym of Rec Hall as well as on the track surrounding the Main Gym.

Mortenson Construction is seeking qualified Subcontractors and Suppliers to join the project team. Selection will be through a best value process, taking qualifications and pricing into account.

It is the intent of the selection process to result in executed Subcontract or Purchase Agreements for construction services upon successful, mutual agreement of scope, schedule, and price for the work. By responding to this RFP, Proposers agree that they have reviewed all attached documents, exhibits, referenced and supplemental documents; and that acceptance of these documents is made with no exceptions. If the terms of the subcontract cannot be agreed upon, or if Mortenson or the Owner chooses for other just reasons, this work may be solicited and awarded to another party.

Subcontracts will be issued on Mortenson’s standard forms, without exception. Subcontractor shall also be responsible for all flowdown terms outlined in the Agreement between The Pennsylvania State University and Mortenson Construction. Mortenson Subcontract Agreement to supersede any contractual differences.
